Weekend Open Thread, Mike Donahue Edition 6/14/08-6/15/08

If you count his internship, Mike's been 40 years at KOIN. Yow. Very few stations anywhere in the country can claim that kind of institutional memory, certainly no other station in town. Use this as an open thread.

Looking to see a great movie? (come on now, it was written and directed by Joss Whedon)
And benefit a great charity....Equality Now !! (www.equalitynow.org )
The PDX Browncoats (fans of Joss' TV show Firefly, and his movie Serenity (as well as Buffy, Angel, and coming in Jan., Dollhouse) are putting together 3 showings of Serenity at the grand Hollywood Theater in NE Portland. All proceeds go to Equality Now.
