And....they're not a FOX-owned station. They're a FOX affiliate... run the programming---THAT'S IT !!
Figure it out--- FOX O&O's may (though i doubt it)have a mandate from corporate to spin their news to the right... but even if that were true, it wouldn't affect KPTV. They're owned by a different company--Meredith.
All this deal is about is money, money, money, and making more of it. That's what the FOX news department is out to do(at least their news boss). Seems they have forgotten their charge of being responsible informers of the public, accountable to them, and not the stock holders. That's why they're given the free PUBLIC airwaves.
KGW's not there yet, but they're at the edge of that slippery slope, staring down at it, scratching their head, and contemplating joining KPTV at the bottom of the hill.
