KOIN was the only station to lead with the bridge collapse at 5pm, going with pictures provided live from the network and doing local commentary. It looked like the other stations didn't even know about the tragedy when they took to the air. Very strange. I'm NOT surprised that 12 didn't lead with it at 10pm. They couldn't. To the best of their knowlege there wasn't a pedophile with a Portland connection they could focus their "investigative team" on.
