I don't see it that way. I just thought that the story was big enough, and there was enough of a local tie-in to make it a natural lead. I think 12 gets plenty of credit for what they do. They produce good-looking newscasts, and they get ratings. But, I also believe that the daily dose of meth-head pedophiles and fear-mongering may have peaked. If you look at the other stations, they seem to be moving away from their copy-cat mode when it comes to FOX. As far as being the first to get a package on, who cares? Viewers are interested in the story, not whether it's a package, coverage from a sister station, or live video with local anchor voice-over.
Sorry you FOX people are so sensitive. But, sometimes the other outlets make the right call. In my opinion, last night was one of those times.
