You guys over at KPTV can't handle criticism well.

Anyhow, I totally agree with pdxtvinsider's analysis and thought KPTV's decision to go with that pathetic lead-in really highlights their poor sense of judgement. I know they heavily focus on being LOCAL, but there are times when national stories CLEARLY trump isolated, cheap police blotter pieces. Reminds me of the night before Hurricane Katrina when 12 lead with a benign road rage incident. Sad, sad, sad, sad.

Kudos to KOIN...you guys did a pretty good job last night!
