Undoubtedly, the folks at FOX 12 will point to the 8.5 rating for last night's 10pm newscast (including a 9.4 in the 1st quarter-hour) and use the high number(s) to justify their decision.

Congrats on the 9.4 for your A-block. But know that there are a good many of us who believe that you could've had a HIGHER number (in the 10-12 range) if you'd developed the big story of the night appropriately off the top. But if the 9.4 is good enough for you, then so be it...
