...and I DO work for KOIN (no I didn't fire Ed, I certainly don't have that kind of power). Business is business. He was once a Portland icon but he didn't do the job well anymore for a number of reasons. Dan Christopherson will serve us very well going forward.
That being said...good luck to Ed. I believe he'll actually be fine. Another station could pick him up part time to add spice to Sunday NFL or Blazer coverage.
