Apparently business reporters are the flavor of the day; the Bend Bulletin and the DJC are hiring too.
Don't know about the Portland business pubs, but The Bulletin goes through business beat folks even faster than the other areas of the newsroom. Try reporting with a target on your back and see how long you like it.
