I'm a realist. I come to this blog and everything else I've ever written with all my life experiences. I make no claims to false "objectivity." Scott and I bent each other's ears at length on that topic last night.

Here's the deal: If anyone out there wants to peel me a grape* I am all for it. This website makes me bupkis. Well, not quite bupkis, but darn close--on average less than a dollar a day. Our main site supports our far-flung blog empire.

But if, for example, George Lilly personally cut up a Ruth's Chris steak and fed it to me whilst I reclined on a sofa being fanned by hunky firefighters I would still talk smack about KOIN when it's deserved. Anyone can give me any kind of perk--short of a cash payment or something really serious like a car, as if--and I will gleefully tell you every last detail of it and continue on as usual.

Just try me. ;)
