Did you read the post? It said KPTV's model was WORKING - paying off with great ratings and a bigger profits. Once again, someone from KPTV is soooooooo sensitive. Whenever someone here points out (accurately) what they're doing, an employee (or ND) must chime in and say: "But everyone else is doing it too!" KPTV is clearly the biggest offender when it comes to younger hires in Portland. FOX12 lets the kids anchor the newscasts. They pay less and expect more out of those young employees. Now -- here's the important part Patrick or whomever is ready to respond: I'm not saying it's a bad thing necessarily -- just reality these days in Portland TV and specifically at KPTV right now.
