What a strange decision.
Today, January 6, the Oregonian includes the usual Sunday filler, "Parade" magazine featuring a cover story about a living Benazir Bhutto as "America's Best Hope Against Al Quaeda."
Huh?
She died two weeks ago today!
Now I'm sure Parade is printed in advance. But why include something a full two weeks after your profile subject has been assassinated?
It's bad enough that the O regularly runs daily news stories that are days old.
But a magazine cover story on someone assassinated two full weeks prior?

That's embarrassing.
