I was excited to see Portland prominently portrayed in another movie, but this was another stinker (anyone see The Hunted). Anywho I read a review on Oregonlive and the director said that KPTV was very cooperative with the filming of the movie, but no, not flattering at all. Here is the question and answer from the article:

Q: "Our local Fox affiliate has a reputation for
oversensationalizing crime coverage. That's picked up on in the
film. Did they know they
were going to be portrayed as an enabler to the serial killer?"

A: "We needed a station up there that would always be on so the bad
guy could prove that he was streaming live. They stepped up and made
it the easiest. They were great during the entire shoot. When you
approach anyone about being in a movie, almost always they say, "Let
me read it." I assume they read the script."
