She left KXL and got a job at KPOJ. Simple as that. It is called Radio. People move around all the time. You get fired by one, you get hired by another. The format/music/talk may not be the issue. A job is. If Shawn is a good producer, it doesn't matter whether it is left or right or automotive or gardening. A producer is a producer, not the air talent.
