Let's review TV 101, when a huge TV event takes place on your network that is expected to draw HUGE ratings... it is also expected that the main anchor team work the next newscast following that event in the hopes of capturing any new viewers who stumble on to your station. Super Bowls, Oscar night, World Series games, etc all get this type of coverage. You want to put your "best face" forward so to speak. Does it work? Open for discussion. btw it would be nice to see the numbers for the Super Bowl, as well as the news following it.
