I have a few questions for the print media out there.
Do newspapers have an industry standard for objectivity while writing an article? We all know television removed that liability years ago and now we see commercials disguised as news you need to know.
The specific story I am talking about was written by Randi Bjornstad of the Register Guard. While reading her story about the Eugene housing market online I noticed one of the ads was for a local realtor. The same realtor happened to be quoted in the article saying 2008 was going to be a good year for real estate.

If there is an actual standard I would love to learn more about it.
Also, how big is real estate advertisement to the local print media?
