I find it interesting that so many people want to dis a guy for actually doing something on his own. I don't remember Mr Pfenning saying he was going to have superior coverage than anyone else or was going to take over the universe of sports journalism in Oregon...did he? He just talked about doing something different. He never claimed to be the greatest sports writer in Oregon did he?
When a man has a dream to do something most people are going to be offended because they themselves will never rise to the occasion to follow their own buried dreams and so they just become "haters" of everyone else who seeks to follow their heart. They can do nothing but try and tear others down.
How creative.
Will Mr Pfenning succeed? For the sake of all those EXPERTS who just know he will fail, I hope not. Again he never claimed he was going to be better than "the establishment" just different.
