The First Lady's plane...

It came in to PDX the day before. KGW used it's airport skycam all morning long showing the jet on the tarmac. If someone at KOIN had been watching the competition, they would have seen their error.. or Lynn's error. I'm not sure the plane mistake mattered much though. Lynn said the First Lady was here for a drug conference and then used that bad information as an excuse to talk about the Bush daughters and their alcohol use in college. He topped it off with discussion of Jeb's daughter and her substance abuse issues. While the abuse information is correct, it really had nothing to do with the story or the First Lady's interest in helping at-risk youth. Anybody who doesn't realize the seriousness of the error, including Lynn, has no business contributing to a newscast.
