KOIN's big blunder

If the desk/management sent Huston to PDX, they are living in a total bubble. KGW showed a live shot of the first lady's plane the night before Huston's big blunder. Clearly no one's watching the competition. Had they, Huston would have never talked about the first lady arriving. He/KOIN would have already known she had touched down.
