"You're from Seattle" is a pretty weak criticism in the context.

Just because you're from Seattle doesn't mean you also aren't allowed to opine on anonymity on an Oregon-based media commentary board. It also doesn't necessarily mean that someone is exactly "coming down here and telling us all what to do"; nobody abdicated and left STG in charge. We don't have to "do as he says". I certainly don't feel as though we're being lectured.

I think he raised a valid point about anonymity and why some people post here without using their real names. It's a subdiscussion that will permeate businesses like this as long as businesses like this exist.
