Mid-valley abuzz

Many of us here in Corvallis and Albany are quite disheartened at this blatant disregard for coverage of subjects dear to the hearts of many in this valley. Amid all the bad news about Maxx trains running people over, travel companies scamming Portlanders, and other stories those of us in the mid-valley don't really care about (but are forced to endure because companies like Dish Network won't give us the option of Eugene locals), it was always refreshing to see Grant McOmie discuss subjects to which we can relate, and appreciate.

I agree -- no reason to watch KATU news anymore. I have begun streaming in news from Eugene channels -- not ideal, but a lot more relevant.
