I'm sorry for those of you who don't like Grant McOmie's work. That's your opinion.

Mine is that he is/was part of the Oregon culture like Ramblin' Rod or Bud Clark. I'm sure the management at KATU would slap both of them around too, if they had the chance. Yes, I know Ramblin' is at the big cartoon show in the sky.

Anyway, I sent in my e-mail basically saying that if you want to be a knock-off of KPTV just keep going down this road. I have all but given up on local TV news, simply because it feels less like Oregon now and more like LA.

I like the newspaper anyway.
