Seems to me that an engineer is a pretty important job, especially at a television station. If Lee Wood has been there as long as people say he has, then the writing was probably on the wall. The corporate engineer will work out of KOIN, and if New Vision wants to make it a flagship station, they'll go after an engineer with a fresh view, and who's up to date. Not to say that Wood wasn't there, but New Vision has been consistent so far. They've already gotten rid of the news director and the sales manager.
KOIN is still hurting from years of pillaging and neglect. They need to start over. Looks like that's what New Vision is doing.
