I went to Bates Technical School form 1981 to 1983, and worked my first job at KPTV-12 as summer-relief, engineering. The FCC did away with the First Class Radio Telephone License in early 1982, so I ended up with a Second Class Radio Telephone. In 1984, I submitted my Second Phone to the FCC and received a lifetime General Radio Telephone License.
BTW, Lee Wood just toured KVAL last week as Fisher's new 'corporate engineer'.
