I come back into town after a college visit with my son, and I'm churning through the rumor mill!

First of all, I know nothing about the staff change at KPOJ-- and I am not a candidate for the opening left by Heidi's departure.

Secondly, Heidi, please email me rwebbontheweb@comcast.net. I know exactly how that feels--and it is the worst. It also takes some time and TLC to get over it, not to mention the support of fans and friends. Bill, please do put up her new email. (Even pals at KPOJ may be reluctant to forward mail to her, because they know it's monitored.) It means the world to hear people say you helped them start their day, that you somehow mattered.

The worst thing about our business is that managers can pull the plug with no notice in such a public and humiliating way.

No, I have no plans to resume rising at 4:00 AM. In fact, I think that last three years at KINK may have cured me of radio.
