...despite what you might hear from KGW folks, ad sales aren't going well. Local clients aren't interested in Olympics. The KGW sales staff has had to dramatically cut prices to get people to re-consider buying airtime. Don't be surprised to see commercials from small local businesses during the coverage. It's really sad.
