Except in cases of genuine physical hardship, NO ONE SHOULD EVER MAIL IN THEIR BALLOT OR OTHERWISE VOTE EARLY. Instead, drop it off at a drop site on election day! You never know what will transpire in a campaign's final days, e.g., whether that Senatorial candidate you voted for will turn out to be a closet KKK member or sex perv or something. Campaigns will often sit on damaging info about an opponent until a week or so before the election, so as to do maximum damage.

Voting early is like reviewing a movie that you left halfway through. Please stop it! It's tragic that Oregon's electoral system actually encourages this practice.
