First, she did get paid if she was asked by managment to do the commercial. What would she have done if management would have asked her to endorse a politcal preference? She could always say no to both and keep her integrity.
I have seen local "celebrities" news people do public service commercials, but rarely and very rarely do I see some do a commercial for a business.
