Yes, the die has been cast. But, Jeff Alan knew the deck was stacked against him when he took the job, and like the (3) previous jobs he had before KOIN, he was more than willing to do his part to strip down, close down, or otherwise cripple a newsroom. What did he expect?
He might have been hamstrung, but he apparently developed a case of Stockholm Syndrome pretty quickly. And yes, Kacey must face her past, but who among us doesn't at some point? She's showing more professionalism than anyone else involved right now, because she's just going out there and doing her job . Shame on Jeff. Go ahead, sue the company if you think you were wronged. But, why not keep everyone else out of it?
