Hey Insider,
We missed your KOIN bashing. The calculated stripping of that
station is old news now. We know they suck. Anybody who talks
to the folks still working there, who got fired
from there, or who just got hired there know it.
How about taking your arguments up a little higher on the
evolutionary scale?
What would you do about it?
What do you think SJL's ultimate plan is?
To me, that would be more interesting than these
critiques.
You're right in that the KOIN news product now is technically
subpar, even for a market much smaller. I've worked at stations where somebody would have to suffer consequences
for continued fuck-ups like that.
IMHO, SJL's priorities aren't in putting on a good newscast.
They want a cheaply-made product that's just credible enough to sell, and as long as it sells, they couldn't care less how good
it is, or what the ratings are.
