I was fortunate enough to have had Mr. Poolside take an interest in my writing and chatter when I was first a freelancer in Portland, and I truly did appreciate his attentions. His was an entertaing show and part of a wonderful old school KFXX local lineup along with the great Mike Parker and the one and only Michael Thompson. We were never chums, never did hang out, but I enjoyed his show, and I am truly saddened by this news.
RIP Tony, and may there be drinks with umbrellas in them served by comely servers wherever it is you find yourself.
