The first dopes who bought KINK and KGW-AM (when I was still there--they're the dopes who fired me ;) ) dropped the historic KGW calls almost immediately, going temporarily with KINK-AM and simulcasting. The day they shut down KGW I knew my own days were numbered, and I was right. Once you drop a 3-letter call sign you can never get it back. That frequency is now KPOJ.
