Read the editorial (7-20-07) of how well the paper is doing financially, how he shamelessly compares his paper to General Motors (!) and then look at page 2 where the rates are shown. Very quietly, without telling the subscribers, the rate of $27 per month has gone away, and now it's $30 per month regardless if you have a carrier deliver it or a motor route. Everyone knows the motor route is more expensive, and it costs the paper next to nothing to deliver with the kids (which are paid slave-labor rates of about half of minimum wage). No wonder the paper is doing so well financially!
