I used to work at the Seaside Signal. And I'm sure the Daily Ass probably feels its primary competition is the O -- the Sig and the Ass don't cover the same stuff and are on different parts of the coast. I should know --- I was supposed to be covering Cannon Bleach but I loved Astoria more and finally was told unequivocably to STOP GOING THERE AND COVERING THEIR STUFF.

Still, I'm surprised the Ass wouldn't recognize the Sig woman.....it seems like there should be some collegiality there.....
