Hartmann saying he was honorably discharged is meaningless. If he faked his way to flunking the physical, then the deception would get him the honorable discharge.

So that is no explanation. The question is whether he faked something to flunk. Only he can answer that, and at this point, who could possibly prove whatever he says wrong?

Personally, I would be interested to hear the details of his flunking the physical. He will be on air talking about the war, talking about Bush, perhaps saying Bush lied us into the war ...

If he enlisted to avoid getting drafted, then "managed to flunk" the physical when it became clear that he might face dangerous duty, I think it is relevant.
