KGW: To Be Fair, I Freaked Out Too

Submitted by LynnS on Mon, 03/12/2007 - 11:32pm.

When I saw New Season Foods Inc. Sold come across my PBJ newsfeed this morning, I just about jumped out of my skin. Nooo! Not my market! Not again! Not like Nature's!

Then I read the piece and realized it wasn't the market, it was a processor of materials for instant soup. Unfortunately, KGW didn't read the article very closely and ran a story that New Seasons MARKET had been sold, forcing the market to run the screenshot to the right.

Thats why I gave our prods a heads up when the release came in.. just in case someone jumped to the wrong conclusion (Hey Lynn those words in the verify box are very hard to read!!)

Though I agree. I'll see if there's a way to raise the type size.

I have to install a bunch of TrueType fonts to size up the captcha, and I won't have time to do that for a bit. Bear with me--or get an account! :)

I want to know where the anonymous PRO-KGW anything poster is? You know, the person who thinks KGW can do no wrong. Usually, this person has some long, glowing statement about KGW being the GOLD standard of local television news in P-town, then makes some small b.s. statement explaining the station's gaffe.

So you can sideswipe him?

Sick sick sick

Okay! KGW is the gold standard of local television news in P-town and can do no wrong. (wow! glad I got that off my chest.)

Gaffe:"A blatant mistake or misjudgment." Someone lost control of one of the interns usually kept locked in the basement.

Our Fairy Blogmother could tell you about the basement if you are interested.

...as I referred to them when I was upstairs at KINK. :) I loved my job in that basement.

Oh good, 'cause if the grass is going to continue to be greener on KGW's side of the street, it's gonna take a lot more B.S.

It's such an ugly thing... Keep working hard.. you'll get to a good station someday.

... is 2.6 less that goes into KGW's pockets. Oh, and way to go for the bottom of the barrel when trying to diss KPTV. Maybe it's because all of their other shows are doing so well, you can't pick on them?

KGW really did get a 2.6. On Monday I think.
