The Oregonian has earned its second dart from Columbia Journalism Review in six months, this time for relying on (and sticking to) an inaccurate engineering analysis in a story involving the stability of ATV's. (September/October, 2007 issue, p. 13)

My views on Ann Coulter are not printable in a family newspaper. Luckily this is not a family newspaper. ;) eh, I'm not going to bother anyway. You can use your imagination. I don't choose the Google ads. Many people use the Ann Coulter "brand" for advertising; they carry her column or sell her books. So banning particular websites (which is as close as I can do for Google ads) would not result in a cessation of Coulter-branded ads. For some reason, Google thinks people who read this site would be interested in her, so they serve those ads. I can tell you from my click-through stats that very few people here actually are. ----- ....I quite like Ann Coulter and really enjoy watching so many of you get your panties tightly knotted. Actually-- While I consider her vile, I don't really appreciate attacks on her looks, myself. I leave that sort of thing to...well, to Ann Coulter. ----- Post new comment |
