Sam Adams Beer vs KEX

I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned this. Apparently, Sam Adams beer wants a couple of domain names that Mark Mason and Dave Anderson bought for Sam Adams candidate for mayor.

I am so sick of these mindless corporate drones with no common sense. I hope the beer company loses - I'm starting to lose my faith in our society.

I'm not a fan of Sam Adams, mayoral candidate, but this really ticks me off. I suppose next they'll send him (and all the other Sam Adams in the country) a C&D telling them to stop using their names.

I'm all for a boycott, but why would anyone here drink that east coast swill when we have many local beers that are 10x better than Sam Adams?

Quite frankly this is great promotion for Mark & Dave who I think are the most listenable afternoon drive show in town. By the way, they do have a mini-frig in the control room and it's not filled with Sam Adams!

By the way, I only listen to Mark and Dave occasionally. Most of my attention is on sports radio, when I'm in a car where my radio works. But this row is an example of ridiculous, humorless, and senseless corporations abusing the little guy, and it deserves a response.

Will the boycott change the behavior? In itself, probably not. But it draws attention, drives news, and maybe will create enough shame to get some common sense out of the pinheads behind this corporate maneuver. So continue to spread the word. The revolution will be blogevised.
