KATU score ticker clipped?

Anyone else noticing that K2's score ticker is past "title-safe" on 4x3 screens?

Dunno if this is part of some evil plot to get us all to buy those newfangled HD sets...but seems more annoying than persuasive to me. And K2 seems to be the only violator - haven't noticed it to this extent elsewhere.

To see the score as

BA Knicks 87 Celtics 83 FINA (obviously, I am making this up, as the Knicks are winning a game)

or some such is just odd.

I get made when half of it

I get made when half of it is cut off on the bottom of my screen. Most everyones is like that. (Maybe GDOs is ok.) But it can't be that hard to move it up a bit can it?

This is good news for me. I always thought it was my dang TV that would, for some magical reason, clip off the tickers of different stations. But yes, KATU's is the worst I have seen. Most of the time tickers seem to be either cut off horizontally, but I have been noticing a larger number of vertical cutoffs, meaning that there is this static colored bar where no text is displayed. Tis annoying!

if I were you I'd just e-mail them and tell them the problem...

on a sidenote, if you guys been watching the weekday morning newscast and see the news and weather ticker on there, that might have been thanks to me. Believe it or not I e-mailed katu about it telling them that they had a ticker on screen around 2001/2002/2003 but ever since they removed it. I gave them a good reason why they should have it, for those who dont have time to watch the entire news cast. just glance and see the top stories and that it will fit in with news 2 go.

now I dont know if the decesion was based on me, another viewer or was already in the planing stages. but I did tell them to make it more noticeable then the sports.
