You must be a bit out of touch. I have a gay relative that uses the term "fruit" all the time in a humorous context. There's nothing wrong with it, although I wouldn't use it on-air myself.

Helen is still on AM Northwest. I'm watching her now with the "Dog of the Day." Who are YOU confusing her with?? "I laugh at people who can't even figure out which channel they're watching."

if helen left katu. then when was her last day. i didnt even hear about it. She did so well on amnw. did something happen? whos taking over?

I thought I made it clear in my opening sentence. Let me break it down in sound bites for you all.

I have a job.
I don't watch daytime TV.
This Helen woman is inappropriate.
I have over 100 channels to choose from.
I fear the next time I am sick at home she will be on one of them.
Thank you for clearing up for me which channel she is on so I can
avoid it more easily.
Just a question to "UMM" I hear a lot of African Americans calling one another the "N" word. Are you going to let that go on the local morning news program?

If you are so out of it you can't even keep track of which station/channel/show you're watching, then you probably should keep your ignorant comments to yourself. Other people also have jobs, have over 100 channels to choose from and THEY seem to be able to keep track. If you "don't watch daytime TV," then what the hell are you on about. Go find another forum to address your concerns, such as I'mjustplainstupidinsider.com. By the way, what job do you have so I can post on your industry forum how much I hate you, even though I don't know what the hell I'm talking about.

There's a new face on GDO, presumably, because Kim Maus now anchors The 4 O'Clock News and if she showed up for all of GDO as well as doing Mo'Betta Portland she'd be on the station more than 12 hours daily.

Well, that's my guess anyway.
