Reporter Shellie Bailey-Shah has breast cancer and is going in for a bilateral mastectomy tomorrow. You can email her best wishes if you'd like. If you're a woman, you can also learn how to do self-exams and/or schedule that overdue mammogram. I intend to.

Best wishes to Shellie during her during this difficult period. Looking forward to her return to KATU.

Encourage the women in your life to get tested. Obviously, it's vitally important for women of all ages to get tested. Shellie's only 38.
