.2 Network is coming to Meredith, but where will other content go?

Meredith has signed an affiliation deal with .2 network as a digital subchannel, run by Guardian Enterprise Group out of Ohio. It is not known which side of the house will inherit the channel, although my bet is on KPTV as this looks to be a solid contender for movies and content based on the website.

I have an email into KPTV.com to see if they can tell me where the subchannel will end up.

This fall is going to be quite exciting for the corporations who run our local affiliates to see which digital subcontent they bring on. First and foremost should be bringing on LATV and getting some Latino content on the digital side. Also, Universal Sports (formerly WCSN) should be on (cross our fingers) a digital subchannel in the Portland area for Beijing coverage.

Hurray for the last 12 months of analog. Digital content will give us more reason to dump that silly comcast.

Oh yeah, check out the preview for .2 at http://dot2network.com/national/

No way Mr. McCreery and his boss Mr. Clarke waste their money on movie rights;
They've already got human bodies that are paid for in the building, so the answer is simple: MORE NEWS, MORE NEWS, MORE NEWS----Yep ! A 24 HOUR PORTLAND NEWSHCANNELL!!!!
I can hear Patrick now: "We just need to add a few more rundown templates into the I-news computers, and click and drag the "last show" into the next one. It's that easy!"

Think of all the money the two at the top at KPTV can take home with their ever-increasing bonuses ! (Mind you--at the expense of the rank and file who are already stretched thinner than the skin over Pamela Anderson's chest.)

It's true what the liberals say: We're fast becoming a third-world country, where the gap is widening between the haves and have-nots. Soon the middle class will be expired.
