That gleeful shrieking you heard last night? It was me.

What's up?

First off, I'm glad Abrams is out. He always reminded me of the tattle tale in grade school. NBC should just have him take over the "To Catch a Predator" series on Dateline and get it over with.

Now for the rest of that article. Do we really need another liberal news network? It's like engineering another kind of apple, except not funded by Ted Turner. How about a network that reports the news without a political bias? You literally can't trust any TV news any more (FOX News included). In the race for ratings, the actual storytelling is being sacrificed in favor of personalities like Olbermann and O'Rilley, who want you to think like them instead of for yourself. These networks are turning us into the lemmings they think we are. But so long as we can yell, "Your wrong and I'm right" at each other, I guess we are stuck with it. The facts can wait, so long as were entertained.

Now if you'll excuse me, the Colbert report is on, so I'm going to go sit down and enjoy a honey crisp fuji green apple.

So says my mother-in-law, complaining about a large blotch of ink that leaked over her daily puzzle yesterday.

I told her I didn't think it was "printed" there --("Oh, yes it is," she said)--but perhaps the make-up and some of the stories were being outsourced.

At any rate, I did a Google search on both the newspaper and Morris Publishing Group, which owns this rag, and didn't find anything.

Does anyone know where to find the truth about this hot rumor making the rounds of the senior set in Jacksonville, along with Obama's Muslim ties? (And if it is being printed in India, as she maintains, that must be some delivery truck that circulation is running.)

I think there's a red eye to Jacksonville with a few available seats. Can I get back to you?

I worked there for two stations over fifteen years, and if you want to return in my stead, I will be eternally grateful. Hell, I'll even by the water bottles for you on the plane!

Barak Obama continues to move his muslim agenda forward in S. Florida according to the Miami Herald.
He is apparently targeting Senior Citizens with garbled messages which appear to endorse continuing the Medicare/Medicaid Programs per usual, but upon closer examination, it quickly becomes apparent that Obama is advocating voluntary suicide centers for the rapidly-aging population, especially unnerving for the retiring and soon-to-be retiring Baby Boomers who have lots of dough and not much to do. How much shuffleboard can one play is the question Obama advisors are asking behind closed doors.

It seems obvious that if Obama is elected, we will begin to see "voluntary suuicide centers" quickly in areas with high density populations of seniors. Oregon is seen as prime proving grounds for the Obama plan because we have already approved assisted suicide.

Channel 49 News, in association with KPTV-12, is about to bust this story wide open.

That's exactly what Mother has been reporting, so it must be true. Her best friend watched Fox all day and would occasionally call her to tell her who was out to get us now. The "who" always changed, but the fact that they were out there and on their way was immutable.

I can reliably inform you that the Florida Times-Union is printed in Jacksonville, which last I checked was not in India. All of the stories are locally produced as well.

Your mother-in-law might want to call the newspaper right away. I'm sure they'll drop everything they are doing to explain. Meantime is it possible that the splotch on her paper may be caused by the deluvian storm?

It looks like KATU and KGW have a new feature on their website. You can comment on or recommend a story.

hello? 100 layoffs at the o. this site used to contain updates once a fortnight or so.

I got word of this during a business meeting, and the client would have taken it poorly if I had said, "Oh dear, please excuse me, I need to drop everything for my hobby website. Yes, I know you're paying me and the hobby website isn't, just a moment, please."

Watch for an actual post.

Did I miss it or did KGW not report on the breaking news that Obama picked Biden as his running mate in their first block?

KPTV had it as their second story with their political analyst talking live about it. I think their coverage went on for several minutes. Their first story was about that accident on the Hood to Coast Relay.. also didn't see it on KGW's CW. It makes me wonder if they taped that newscast.

Anyone know?

I'm pretty sure the CW broadcast was quoting CNN and reporting about Biden that way. I didn't watch the 11:00.

I'm surprised no one reported this yet. This tasty little news item was on Fox News, regarding Jeff Alan. You'll remember he "outed" Kacey Montoya's modeling career. Alan claims he was fired partially because he opposed Montoya's hiring on moral grounds. Well, check this out:

http://search2.foxnews.com/search?access=p&getfields=*&sort=date%3AD%3AS...

If the link isn't working, the story says that Kacey's lawyer has linked a bondage website, called thehouseofsirj.com to Jeff "family values" Alan himself. The website is down now, but I saw it yesterday, and it sells a bunch of whips, canes, etc. and is run by "Sir J" and "Lady Patrice". Patrice is the name of Alan's signifcant other. There are other little details we've caught wind of, but haven't confirmed them, so maybe someone else on this site will. Let's just say they involve a police visit to the Alan household. And no, I don't feel the least bit guilty smearing a hypocrite who smears other people for his own personal gain.

KOIN insider (not Kacey)

Breaking News? Really? Leading a newscast with this? Live shots? Am I missing something?

Jessica Silva is no longer on kptv.com's "personalities" page. Has she left KPTV? I haven't seen her reporting in a while. I thought she was one of their better reporters.
