Is it just me, or does anyone else wish the Furniture ConneXtion blonde chick would invest in voice lessons? To her credit she has toned it down somewhat, but OMG she sounds like Edith Bunker!! BTW her hubby sounds exactly like Tom Peterson. No "ConneXtion", I'm sure ;<] ( topics: General Media )

I don't mind the Mattress World ads at all. Think they are well done for a local outfit. As previously noted by me, I simply cannot stand the screeching whiney-voiced female half of the Furniture ConneXtion ads. In fairness, she does seem to be working at toning it down.
My number one nominee for worst, worst, worst local commercial is Beaverton Toyota. Yes, it makes me remember the name, but I sure wouldn't buy a car there. Their ads are embarrasingly awful: the marimba band, "the dog???", "is that my doctor?" BARF!
I also love the Lucy/Desi ads and agree they're so bad they're good.
